A really good but really twisted vampire story.
Tansy is attacked and turned. However, unlike most vamps, she doesn't lose her humanity. Her heart is breaking at watching her best friend take over the life she should have had.
Drexel will pay for what he has done, although it may very well take Tansy's life for real this time. Can she learn to love herself? The life she now has? Or will the darkness truly consume what is left?
I loved this very well-written story.
