REVIEW
New to me author

This is a story of two people who have dark secrets of a battered life becoming friends.
O'connell and Emily meet in a diner where she works. Emily has been running for a long time from an abusive stepfather. O'connell himself has demons in his life. O'connell was determined however to prove to Emily he was worth y of her and keeps telling her he wants to only be friends.

Emily has strong feelings for O'connell and only hopes she is giving trust to the right person.
O'Connell is one hell of a boxer and Danny has gotten him into bigger fights to help gain sponsors. He sees something in this boy who he has trained.

Cormac *The Hurricane O'Connell*  Emily could not understand why he was called this until she goes to the first fight.

At the first fight Emily meets the mother of O'Connell and to say the woman is horrible person would be putting it mildly she plays on Emily’s fears.

Will she manage to keep Emily from O'Connell?
Can these two people get through the obstacles?

The books is well written, I like how the couple in the book are slow to grow, the story flowed and kept me reading it without pausing to much.  I enjoyed the book and would recommend it.

I was gifted a copy of this book for my honest review
