1. Where do you write from?
I have two favorite places. One is on my front porch, which I have converted to an office. The other place is my local coffee shop. Both have comfy couches, hot drinks, and peaceful atmosphere. My office has dogs so it wins.

2. When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?
I’ve always liked creating stories in my head. It never occurred to me to write them down until my late thirties. Not sure what triggered the idea, except I was bored. I DO recall what triggered my drive to publish. I had posted my first chapter online for feedback, and boy, did I ever get a lot of positive comments. That’s when I thought maybe I could do this writing thing.

3. How long does it take you to write a book?
Forever… I’m definitely on the slow side of most career writers. A full novel can take me three to four months to write. I’ve tried writing faster, pushing the words out before they were ready and those books were my worst sellers. Slow and steady is better for my writing.

4. Where do you get your information or ideas for your books?
Everywhere. Most of my stories come from “what if” questions.  What if vampire slayers used someone as bait to catch their prey? What if a group of submissive werewolves lived together so they could support each other?

5. When did you write your first book and how old were you?
I was in my late thirties in 2008.

6. What do you like to do when you're not writing?
I love to garden. I call myself an urban farmer. Read, of course. Taking care of my family. Sometimes I knit. (I’m not very good at it. LOL)

7. What Genre do you write?
 Paranormal Romance and Alien Romance

8. How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?
Twenty-four books. My most popular is Not His Dragon, but my favorite to write was Venturi. I love alien romance with a fish out of water trope.

9. Do you hear from your readers much? What kinds of things do they say?
I love hearing from readers and I do hear from them! Mostly they tell me how much they love my stories and where they have left their reviews.

10. As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up?
I wanted to be a nun. Yep. I saw a show on Mother Teresa and how she helped people. In the end, I did end up helping people by becoming a nurse.

11. Tell us about your current project.
I just finished publishing Venturi, book one of the Crashlander series, and I’m presently writing Pansies of the Paranormal, book four of the Vanguard Elite.

12. How do you handle writers block?
I’ve never had it. I think I suffer from the opposite. I have too many ideas and I have trouble deciding what I should write next.

13. What one subject is TABOO in your writing?
Child or animal abuse. That’s just a big nope. Can’t read it, can’t write it.

14. If there was one book you wish you'd written, which would it be?
I have a dark urban fantasy kicking around in my head, but I’m known for my light, humorous voice so I hesitate to write it.

15. What is your biggest pet peeve?
Oh where to start…

16. Is there one current tv show that is a "can't miss" for you?
You’ll laugh, but I love The Curse of Oak Island.

17. Who was your greatest influence?
Laurell K Hamilton, Jim Butcher, and Nalini Singh.

18. How do you choose your book covers?
I have to be attracted to the models I choose. It has to my eye. If my stomach doesn’t flutter when I see the finished product then something is wrong.

19. Something personal about you people may be surprised to know?
 I hate eating fish?

20. How would a reader find you online? IE: Website, Facebook, Twitter, Street Team, Reader Group.
