1. Where do you write from?

I have two places. Through the week, I sit on my sofa. I have my own Homer groove. At weekends, I write from my bed. To be honest, I would love to write from my bed every day of the week, it’s more comfortable.

2. When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer?

I remember writing when I was younger. I used to hide my stories as I wrote about sex in them. My mum was religious and I had two nosey brothers who would have taken the mick out of me if they had found them. I ended up ripping the paper I wrote on into small pieces and flushing it down the toilet. Life took over and it wasn’t until later in life that I started again.

3.How long does it take you to write a book?

It depends really. I’m not a fast writer. If I’m writing a short story’s first draft it can take two weeks if I’m really into it. For a full length it can take months.

4.Where do you get your information or ideas for your books?

I’m a dreamer. My stories tend to form in them.


5.When did you write your first book and how old were you?

I wrote my first book back in 2013. I would have been forty back then.


6.What do you like to do when you're not writing?

Spending time with my family and reading, which is sparse these days.

7.What Genre do you write?

My first love will always be paranormal, however, I have written erotica and contemporary. I have just delved into LGBT themes under a different penname to.

8.How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?

I had to go to Amazon and count. WOW! I have written and published thirteen books. I don’t really have a favourite. Each one I write becomes a favourite at the time.

9.Do you hear from your readers much? What kinds of things do they say?

I used to a lot, not so much now. It is always nice to hear that a reader enjoyed one of your stories. Or they connected to one of your characters.


10.As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up?

I really, really, wanted to be a dancer. I was an eighties girl and very much into my music. I wanted to be one of those girls in music videos that would dance all over the singer. I still do.

11.Tell us about your current project.

I’m working on a funny story, well, I hope it’s funny. It’s about vampire speed dating. It’s called, Loves First Bite. My character has no idea what is in store for her.

12.How do you handle writers block?

I tend to step away and do housework, or open another story I have started and work on that one instead. I hate housework.

13.What one subject is TABOO in your writing?

Sex with animals. NO THANK YOU!!

14.If there was one book you wish you'd written, which would it be?

Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon. That book is the only book that has made me ugly cry.

15.What is your biggest pet peeve?

Judgemental people.

16.Is there one current tv show that is a "can't miss" for you?

The Fall. Jamie Dornan. Enough said.

17.Who was your greatest influence?

There are so many.  J. R. Ward, T. A. Grey, Sherrilyn Kenyon. I could go on and on, but I won’t bore you.

18.How do you choose your book covers?

I have an idea in my head what my characters look like. I then scroll through photo stock photos, pick a photo I like and talk to my designer about what I want on the cover.

19.Something personal about you people may be surprised to know?

I was brought up as a Jehovah Witness.


20.How would a reader find you online? IE: Website, Facebook, Twitter, Street Team, Reader Group.
