1.Tell us about your current project.

I have a few actually, the first is releasing bk3, Dracones betrayed, I am just waiting on my cover to come in and will do a quick cover reveal and then release it. Then I have bk4, Dracones Thaniel with the beta readers, and hope to have it edited in Dec or Jan and release that in Jan or Feb of 2017,
I am also trying to learn Photoshop so I can begin to do the covers myself.
And, I am also working on bk 5, Soroyan's story, he's the big bad Enforcer for the Okami wolves and is an ally of the Dracones.

2. What sparked the idea for this project?

In 2008 I read a book that annoyed the poop outta me, so I decided to write my own books, with my own characters doing what I wanted them to do. At the time, Vampires and Were-wolves were huge and while I love them, I wanted to do something different. So I thought of immortals who change into dragons as I'd yet to hear of any, I'd read books like Eragon, or others where they either hunt or ride dragons, but that was it...:)

2a: When can we expect to see this project?

I released bk 1 Dracones awakening in March 2016, bk2 Dracones revelations in June, and hope to release bk3, this oct, (any day now) and then bk4 in Jan/feb 2017 and bk5 in spring 2017 and so on...I have an indefinite number of books in this series, new characters keep popping up...

3.  How do you choose your book covers?

As an artist myself, I have a pretty good idea of what I want, and have directed my cover artist as to what I want, which she has been great about doing.

4. Music seems to influence a lot of authors, what are your musical influences, if any?

I like a lot of the new stuff that comes out, rock/pop...love Nickelback, Matanja Joy Bradley....and so many others, I often put Spotify on the tv and listen to whatever comes up, oh and I love Disturbed's version and video of Sound of silence. Very powerful.

5. How do you handle "writers block"?

I don't have much of a problem with that as of yet...the characters play in my mind like a constant tv show and I usually find I don't have enough time to do everything and write as well, lol.

6. Who has been your greatest influence?

Sherrilyn Kenyon is my number one biggest influence as she makes you fall in love with her characters and has a big cast of them, which I love, with JR. Ward second, who also has characters you fall in love with, plus a huge cast and mutliple POV's, which mine also has and my readers seem to love.

7. Do you or have you ever had a muse?
Yes, the Characters of Sam and Dean Winchester from Supernatural! :) Love those boys!

8. What one subject is TABOO in your writing?
Not sure, haven't found any yet...my books are very dark, and steamy....

9. What do you do when you aren't writing?

If I'm not writing, or editing, then I'm often formatting with Scrivener then re-submitting files to the various vendors, or working on my latest in paperback form on Createspace and trying to make it perfect. Or, I'm trying to use Photoshop, searching for models on the stock photo sites or trying to contact models about using their photos on a cover....along with promoting my books, or updating my website...

I used to read 5-6 books a week, now I don't seem to have the time, but I do try to read a bit, especially when one of my fav authors releases a new book...I watch TV in the eves, love my shows, Supernatural I watch with my 12 yr old, Arrow and the Flash with my 12 yr old and 8 yr old. I watch the Walking Dead, GOT, and so many more like the Originals and Lucifer...I'm a TV junky!

10. If there was one book you wish you'd written, which would it be?

No idea...never thought about it and if it was one of my favorite books, then if I wrote it, it might not be my fav, so I wouldn't want that, lol

11. What is your greatest passion?

I've always loved working with and riding horses, loved being around the racetrack~the backside. I used to train my own racehorse, plus exercise/gallop horses in the mornings, Pony racehorses (Where you lead the other horse) both in the mornings and during races..but there are no racetracks anywhere near where I live now.. :(   I am not much of a gambler, not lucky that way, if I don't bet on my favorite horse or jockey, then they often win, but if I do, forget it. I just love being a part of everything and that I miss the most...
Out of all the breeds, I love Arabian horses the most, they have the most heart and I love their beauty, probably the artist in me, lol

12. What one word best describes you?

Unassuming? Not sure, what you see is what you get...lol

13. If you could change places with one of your characters, would you?
Which one and why?

Ahm...sure...probably Tierney....She is one kick ass girl! LOL and once she goes through her Awakening, watch out!

14. Is there one, current, tv show that is "can't miss" for you?

Probably more than one, but GOT for sure!

15. Money is no object, where do you go?

Italy, Hawaii, around the world! Oh, and the big Comicons!

16. Tell me, please, the first two books on your TBR list.

I am working my way through Nalini Singh's books, so my next 2 to read are: Kiss of Snow and Tangle of need...

17. How do you choose character names?

I usually make them up, try out the sounds, or take names I like and try changing them a bit, then see what sounds best...

17a: Are you any of your characters inspired by someone you know in "real life?"
No, not yet....

18. Tell us one thing we may not know about you.

My Jack Russell, Jafar, was shot and killed by the neighbor where I was living, in Aransas Pass TX in 1998, right after I had a bad riding accident. Jafar was my baby at the time and I was devastated.

19. What do you want to be when you grow up?

A dragon of course! LOL, But, really, I'd rather not grow up any more, please...and I've done many things that I wanted to do in life, so this is it, be an author and be the best one I can be. :)

20. Of the 7 Deadly Sins, which one have you committed most recently?

Lets see, in my books and mind, I've killed off bad guys and tortured my characters, does that count?
