Emery is on the run from her brother and an arranged marriage to an ugly, abusive, mean alpha. Her mother doesn't care, her brothers don't care about her so she runs and runs as far and as fast as she can. She is saved, and thanks to her friend she gets a job in a local diner working for the Alpha of a wolf pack.

She has been able to stay off the radar of those hunting her down but she didn't stay off one person's radar, and he just walked in the door of the diner.

Knox is a good man, a big man who protects those he loves. He is knocked for a loop when he catches her scent, and then he learns her fears and well this man will grasp it all and tear it down to protect her.

This was a funny, exciting, sexy, and action-packed story. I have read a lot of shifter books and this one well let's just say the female is something I have never read about before, so that was pretty awesome.

Enjoyed this story and can't wait to see who is next.
